Joan grows up in Singapore and she is turning 22 this december. She has a Peranakan Chinese parentage, and she speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, French and Thai. She has braved the monsoon season and floods in Thailand, and had traveled to Europe, Malaysia and Australia. Currently a final year student in Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)/ Newcastle University Year 3 student, doing Bsc (Hons) Food and Human Nutrition. During Joan's free time, she teaches herself how to play the ukulele. She is a traveler at heart and has a strong interest in designing, photography and music.
